We had a nice little gathering on a perfect day. I found a table on the Strand, facing the water. Three freighters went by in the two hours I was there before I had to eave and get ready for my grandson's second birthday party.
JKrug came by about 30 minutes after I got set up, and Gambit came by about an hour later,after he got off work. New pipes were admired, and I showed off the pipe knife I got from Paul's at the end of June. I swear,Paul's has everything!
We agreed that we would try for one more outdoor gathering in September, before we head up to the pipe show in October. Hope to see more of you guys (and gals, if we have any female members in the area) at one of those.
