My family has always been a bit off the track of normality.

Since my wife can no longer travel everyone is coming here... today.

There will 17 family members visiting and celebrating.... here... today.
There is an old joke in our family and probably many others as well...
Santa had a wreck in our living room. :D
Unfortunately we haven't been able to turn off the lights to the tree in more than a week....

In this time of Christmas celebration marked with gift giving, receiving, and spending time with loved ones, I want to take a minute and give thanks to all of you, my wonderful friends and family for which I am truly blessed. My prayers at the end of each day are not filled with requests of material things, but are instead filled with prayers of thanks for all the blessings and good fortune I have received in my life. It's been snowing here in Maryland since 3 PM, we have 4-5" on the ground now. It's the first White Christmas in my memory. Have a safe and blessed Christmas and New Years!

It will be snowing here in New York in a few hours. My dad just left from the Christmas Eve dinner I just had with my girlfriend and my housemate. I have a decent buzz and we're watching my favorite (and least appropriate) Christmas movie 'Bad Santa' and I could not be happier. Merry Christmas everyone. I hope this year is as good or better than any other one you've had.
