An aside: My wife smoked Camels for some years. She went to a NYC newsstand and asked for a pack of Camels and a racing form. The newsstand guy called to his assistant, "Pack 'a Camels and a Bible."

I used to smoke unfiltered cigs in the mid 90s in my late teens (in Nebraska). Old Golds was one of the brands, along with Lucky Strikes, Chesterfields, Pall Malls and Camels. My favorites were Luckies, the toasting did appeal to me. I don't smoke cigs anymore, so I don’t know if Old Golds are still available.
