I seem to have a habit of putting a name to each pipe I make, somewhat for reference in my pictures to make them easier to find. Also don't care for numbering them, anyway, here's one I completed a couple days ago.

Nice pipe! I like pipes much better than cats... I really like the blast, great stem work there too! How long have you been making pipes?

Looks like a Nautilus shell to me for some reason, if you need a more formal name for it. It's quite handsome, definitely a pipe for smoking seated.

how does it smoke with the stem bent like that? wouldn't the chamber be facing your eyes?
or does it just "dangle" rather than clench?

At almost 5oz, not many are going to clench. Stem can be bent more for someone inclined to though.

Really heavy pipes can feel challenging just holding them in your teeth to light, especially if you use matches. Young teeth don't mind, but old teeth do. That pipe, you want a one-handed lighter.

I really like this.

I’m a fan of the few chunky pipes I have; they’re just nice solid things to have in hand, and this looks like it really would be too. That sandblast also looks stunningly tactile. Really great looking work to my eye!
