Howdy, I'm about to lay down some cash finally a pipe over 25 bucks... Quite a step from a now 4 year piper. But... it's time, and so I decided on a meerschaum just so I can experience the whole patina thing and naturally because I would love something to pass on to my children years from now. So I've been looking around and found this on ebay:Mesut
I contacted the merchant and he's going to have Mesut carve me one custom of the same dimensions and make but just with a different design on the front instead. It should be ready next week. So has anyone here ever had any experience with Mesut or his bunch over in Turkey? I'm just a little curious of what I should expect. Also, any tips on meerschaums would be happily received, as it's my first. I'm aware they're quite fragile and so really that's the only thing I'm worried about.
