I certainly like my meers but I sometimes I prefer the briar. It all depends on what I am smoking or what mood I am in. Everybody should own at least one meer IMHO.
I agree with these two comments from above. By all means give a meer a try tom I don't think you'll be disappointed. I like having my meer around for when I just want a change from the briars.
Respectfully, Fireman, if you can't finish a bowl because it's too wet it's probably not the pipe.
Pack better, smoke slower.
Meers have their strong points, but they don't perform miracles.
I agree 100%!! Smoking a pipe is more than cramming tobacco into a pipe and applying fire! A meer will smoke as wet as a briar if not smoked properly!!
