Meerschaum Pipe Questions

Could anyone please tell me about this meerschaum pipe. I was my father’s and I know absolutely nothing about it except that it has never been used. It is a WDC genuine meerschaum pipe. Thank you

Nice! And unsmoked. It has an amber type stem and judging by the fairly flat stamped design on the cap and band dates to around 1910ish.

I hope you were your fathers. Otherwise someone would need to explain somethings. It's probably just a typo but that isn't funny at all, so I will go with the first.
Probably not much more info then what xrundog said. As at that time people weren't as into marking their pipes or even having a brand that can be clearly identified. It's pretty sweet either way.
