Meerschaum lined cork pipe???

This pipe came in a lot that I recently purchased. It has no markings at all and I cant find anything on it. It is a pretty simple set up just a meerschaum bowl in a cork body, the lining does not come out and the reed stem is removable. It smokes about like a good cob but that is all I know. Does anyone know anything about this?

I was also thinking about making a "Trinity" custom cob in which we

have a cob bowl, with a Meer insert and briar shank with lucite bit.....
