Fantastic repair work - it looks great. And a very interesting cheroot holder too!

Do you or your husband have any concerns about smoking it considering the glue? I think it's very unlikely the areas where it has been used would get hot enough to be a problem, but just curious if you had considered it.
Thank you, and yes! I'm paranoid so I try to be very careful about where I use the glue and making sure it's well away from the parts of the bowl exposed to the most heat, only using it when sandwiched between two layers of material rather than exposed directly to the heat, and wipe the interior down with nail polish remover while still fresh to clear any glue left on the sides that could have squished out. By the time the smoke gets to the stem it's much cooler so far less of a worry, so I do sometimes have a small bit of glue exposed if I needed to fill a small gap/crack, but I've repaired at least a dozen amber stems of my husband's regular smokers, some more than a year old by this point, and he hasn't had any issues with the glue failing or causing any scent/taste, so it seems to be working!
