i have seen meer lined pipes for sale.. briar with a meer bowl, am i correct? Could you also get an estate " refurbished" that way , or is it "new construction" only ?

I don't see why you couldn't. The problem would be finding where to send the estate pipe to have a meer bowl carved to fit and the drilled to match. May take some looking around, and may be more cost effective to just buy one new. I could be wrong, but that's my 0.02

I see , I was just curious. Of the 4 pipes I own it's one in particular seems to smoke the best , but I think it is worn out. It was inexpeccive, the bowl is oblonged ( kinda oval), and pitted. I was just asking. Maybe I should just smoke it until I can no more and but I new one. Thanks

well. I have seen plenty of meerlined estates on ebay. Maybe quite a few Whitehalls, in particular, at very reasonable final outcome bid. They are some of my fave smokers. Try to scan ebay. They are listed in the meer category often. Good luck :wink:
