Any that don't use screw in tenon and mortise inserts. Altinay, IMP, SRV, Baki. I'm a bit partial to IMP.

The step down goes from the open 6mm to 3mm. There's also a 9mm to 3mm. 9mms smoke fine without an adapter or filter though.

I thought they existed, too. But I don’t do filters, and smoke my filtered pipes with nothing in the stem, so... ?‍

IMP has a 4 mm drill. Several others I've looked at are 3. IMP draws nice.

It was in 2015 when IMP temporarily went out of business and their lead carver formed WGN Meerschaum. Most of the one's at SPC during that sale were $135.

They were literally getting in hundreds of pipes per day for two weeks when that happened. A friend of mine got a churchwarden with a silver band for $120 as well.?

Now double that barely gets you in. Mine is a canted cherry wood with silver. Love it.

I don't but they're wide open. I'd guess 5 mm. Love the draw on Jack's pipes.

I have a few Altinay 9mm's that smoke great for me with no filter...but if those are too open for you, I also have a couple of their spigots and an army mount that aren't quite as open a draw as the 9mm's but much better than the average meer imo.
