MY first pipe show was so much fun, met and talked to a bunch of carvers, my drug dealers (eBay sellers) , bought a Knets pipe from Maguirs and some aged Xmas cheer 2002,8,10. Plus picked up some free swag and 50 cent an ounce samples

Can't figure out for the life of me why the pictures are uploading that way. My last photo upload did the same

Don't see anything wrong with photo personally.

I got sick to death of trying to straighten my avatar and now I like it that way.

Easily approachable and nice guy. He was joking with me about the auction and the CRAZY people bidding 8,9,10k for his donated pipe .

Well, you've started in the top echelon in the pipe world. That family has its pipes and designs everywhere. Even I have a little Stanwell brushed brown, an economy pipe, done in a Sixten Ivarsson design. They continue to make their mark.

Alan, as one of your... uh, "drug dealers," it was a real pleasure meeting and visiting with you at the show. And a great pic of you and Lars. Only problem is, I now have a bad crick in my old neck. :|
