Scottish Flake is in stock on SP. If that was the only blend they had available for eternity, it would carry the blend.

There was a time right after Covid that McConnell blends were hard to get, now they are almost always in stock on SP. I am speaking of the original blend labels. I think the Yellow Blends are newer and are Peterson/Dunhill clones, maybe Gawith clones as well. etc etc etc.

I think Laudisi is either the distributor or they just do their tinning. Either way, I hope the current recipe stays the same and the tins stay in stock. Scottish Flake is a favorite of mine.

Does anyone know when McConnell started?

Curious how often the 70s tins pop up. I’d like to know how long they also produced for Rattray in the 80s

McConnell Latakia Mixture 1848 is on my "absolutely want to acquire a tin or two" list, but each time I've ordered it from places that claim to have it in stock (e.g., Estervals, DreamingPipes), I've ended up instead receiving tins of their modern "Latakia Flake." Which is itself a very nice blend, but not what I'm trying to get my hands on.
