McClelland Syrian Super Balkan

Revisiting this one today and finding some nice richness and subtle character coming through along with some of the spiciness of the perique.

The mushroom character seems more predominant when this blend is on the moist side. I seem to prefer it dried out a bit.

Its working well today.

I was looking for some reviews and Starcat pops up. We, err, finally meet. Just got a can of this Super Balkan from March, 2006. I'm guessing it is at its peak or maybe past. What say you folks?

C&D also makes a tasty Super Balkan, strong but not oppressive, nice blend available in bulk.

How does it compare to Urango Balkan Supurme ? I have some of that.
