Well I for one added to my stash with the 20 percent off Sutliff bulk sale today at sp.com. In my state they could ban anything at anytime so I'm always ready. Love to move to anywhere but here but wife loves it here. The taxes are way more cheap than leaving. And I've been smoking a pipe for 35 plus. Outside of course for the same reasons. I enjoy all the banter about a closing of a prominent mill. Guess that's why MacBaren let go of their head guy Per Jensen was it a while back? No need to make new blends ? Who knows? At any rate I wonder what will happen to blenders and the supply without big buyers to help keep the farms going. We shall see.

I think I’m sensing some ageism here.
And, there hasn’t been (other than For Sale) a thread with McC in the title for far too long.
Complaining, bemoaning, questioning, whatever keeps the posts coming.

A lot of unnecessary angst and hand wringing over something we have absolutely no control over. "Adapt or die." Smoking is a choice some have opted to define their lives around. Tobacco use is a luxury not a necessity. If it has become such ... my sympathies. We opted into our wee vice at a time when society was turning, correctly I believe in the mid-50's , against tobacco use. If you are so tied to smoking that you see your world collapsing you've invested too much of your life into a triviality. "Adapt or die!" Sooner or later, some here are going to have to "suck it up" and find another diversion/obsession to spend time and moneys on. I'll cover my thoughts by observing, I'm too old and too sick to worry about the situation myself. My sympathies to those whole world seems to revolve around tobacco.
