Did somebody call Frog Morton a lat bomb? Did I hear that right?
Lmao. I agree, they do tend to be on the milder side.
I always thought of the Frogs as Latakia blends for people who don't like Latakia. OK, that's a joke. Nonetheless, they're simply not Latakia heavies like British Woods or Full Balkan Reserve, to name some other McC Latakia blends. It's a scale thing.
Eh, I really do like full english blends but every once in a while I still enjoy a bowl or 2 of FM, FMC, FMOTT or Across the pond. It's a milder different type of english but the virginia components make it very different from others out there. It gives it a sweet BBQ like aroma instead of the smokier aroma you get on more traditional english blends... which can be a good thing.

That being said, I agree. I would not consider FM to be a lat bomb. In fact, most people refer to it as an aromatic english (even though I don't really agree with that).

Those 2 blends you mentioned are indeed excellent choices.

that’s what had been taught to me as well! What have been your fave Mcenglishes? I love the idea of mild lat in anything
