I just received some of this today in the mail from cyndi via the "Blend you'd like to try" thread and I have to agree that the "tin" note (my sample was in a ziplock bag) contains none of the McClelland ketchup smell. I hope it is as good as the H&H Black House.

I bought a tin this week, and it just didn't hit the spot for me, as I can't see what made it so famous of a blend, it this is indeed a direct copy of BS
I've been enjoying this blend over the past week. I never caught any ketchup smell from it, instead picking up more of an almost roasted nut fragrance.
It definitely has a great room note for a latakia blend and leaves a great after-taste as well.
Definitely good, but put it in a sealed jar after opening. I left mine in the tin and by the second day I found that the flavor had dulled down a bit. But it smokes cool, I really like it.
