If I had known earlier how much I was going to enjoy Deep Hollow, I would have stocked up on a lot more than what I have. I'll gladly put it in my list of top 10 aromatics.

Same.... I managed to trade for another tin last week... it came in right as I was finishing another one way too quickly. :crying:
Doesn't matter, going to smoke some now, lol.

Hah! I just found a tin of Deep Hollow that I didn't know I had. Guess I'll open it up one of these days. Right now I'm enjoying SG Best Brown from a tin I picked up about 6 years ago. Now THAT'S a good smoke!

pylorns [/quote]@lazar the question of course is, are the boswells using bulk mcclelland as a base?
Nooooo! Never thought of that - let's hope not.

Enjoy! Mine however won't be touched again for some time. As with all my McClelland blends, they will now be opened rarely and immediately jarred to not be touched again for some time. They have all become a special occasion blend... even my beloved Balkan Blue... and the tins all taunt me as I see them on the shelves, beckoning me like a siren would call a sailor to his doom... cursed cursed Balkan Blue.

I H8 U Embers.
I can't decide if I'm on team rosenthal when it comes to Deep Hollow or the "smoke all of it immediately because you might die tomorrow" team...

So far, the latter is winning.

One of nicest aros out there IMO is Benningtons connoisseurs choice. Out of Florida. No PG, it has a flavor similar to 1Q.....that type of aro.

The McC Townsman Cavendish line wasn't too bad, especially the Brandy flavoured one in the black bags.
Funny... there was a time (not too long ago) where you couldn't give a McC aro away. Now look. 8O LOL.

While I haven't smoked a multitude of aromatics, I just had to hoard a few tins of McClelland Honeydew. Easily my favorite aro - typical McClelland Virginia Flake, with a soft/round sweetness that's unobtrusive. I don't smoke it frequently but I love it to death when I do.

I bought a bunch of that Nording Retriever, and its pretty darn good, but isn't working as well as hoped as a distraction from smoking my Deep Hollow stash (700g and descending).

I am an avid smoker of Mcclelland and love their blends. My go to was chocolate cream.

Absolutely fantastic, any aro lover would love it. So sorry to see it go. I've run out and regret not bulking up on this stuff. If anyone can still find it please let me know. Its one one those baccy's that i would pay a premium to get my hands on now. Farewell mcclelland.

Deep Hollow is great. I also like Virginia Woods, though it’s so lightly topped I’m not sure I can call it an aromatic
