Prior to it's demise, I put away a sufficient amount of McClelland 2015 VaPer so that I don't have to worry about running out in the next few minutes. I sent a forum member some to try out, and it got me thinking...what it this stuff worth now? I know that a lot of folks balked at paying the $50/lb at the time. No, I'm not selling any, but I am curious if any has sold recently. I know that it was also sold as a Peretti blend, and maybe under other private labels...not sure, though.

Well I'll see your dollar amount and raise you. I calculated that my cellar at current Australian tobacco prices would be circa $400k, I didn't pay this much for it but this stuff is a bit like gold tbh and it continues to capitally appreciate no matter what market you're in. Prices at retailers in the U.S. and Europe continue to creep and the more Govt tax/embargo tobacco the higher these values will go.

And just like that, you are now on that Australian tobacco Mafia's watchlist.

My gosh I'm happy for my McClelland stash. An upside of being in the hobby for decades. Believe me I'm not bragging. Just sharing. I purchased them. There were $10 ish for 100 g.
