Once I get the metal lathe I plan to give making some baccyflaps. I can cut about any thread with one of those.

I second the Altoids tins or empty old tins of most flake tobaccos like University Flake. They're great and compact. Easily slip into ones pocket comfortably.

Me want Baccyflap!!!! In the meantime, the MacBaren Navy Flake tin is a good idea. Plus, you get to smoke a bunch of Navy Flake in order to obtain that empty tin...I'm not complaining!

I have been on the look out for a baccyflap for the last few months and I will say this... be prepared to spend some money if you want one!! They are getting pretty high lately! That being said, if Uncle Arthur starts making them I will be first in line to get one!

I'm a little late to the game, but might I suggest the plastic or metal sleeves that some cigars come in? They seal well, hold a couple of bowls each, and are small enough that you can take a few blends with you.

I might suggest one of the Altoid minis can, about 1.25'x2.75". I would also suggest that you reline with new paper, unless you like that added "curiously strong" minty flavor.
