This past week it was almost exclusively Prince Albert in the Greek No-Name Bent or an MM cob with plenty of company by the Banquet. Keeping it simple.
I did give a go at some Cherry Bomb. The jury is still out.
I also gave a final shot to Lane MV-1000... which I have not been able to smoke from the get-go. I find this strange as I am devoted to 1-Q. In an attempt to make the batch of MV-1000 smoke better I added some 1-Q... no dice. I added the remnants of this and this... still can't get past the MV-1000. I give up. A few ozs of what is left over is free to a good home. I hate to toss it so let me know.

Smoking Wicked in a Greenwich Virginian long stemmed pipe. Has anyone tried G&H Top Black Cherry - I see a few a posts about - would like to hear some thoughts on that blend. I am thinking about picking some of that and Russ's new Magnum Opus (which I have sampled and liked) in my next order.

I've just tried a very nice burly, cavendish, perique blend called salt and pepper in my dedicated fishing pipe. My first go at perique and I really like it.
