Good evening. Tonight it was G.L. Pease's Chelsea Morning in the B-C Corsar Black n' Red. This was my first bowl of Chelsea Morning. My quick review: base virginas are sweet and the orientals accompany well enough. The latakia is just enough to cool the smoke and give that well-known note off... certainly present on every puff. I was surprised at how much I felt the perique in each puff - enough spice to keep it in mind. I paired this with a big glass of a local Riesling. Wow - a great match! The latakia really brought the fruity tones in the riesling out. A very nice puff for Memorial Day. Finally some nice weather to enjoy. Have a good week.
