Mason Jar Storage Solution

I have several quart jars of tobacco in cardboard boxes in my closet. I was looking around for a better storage solution and came across this. Figured I'd share here because I'm sure someone else here has a similar problem, and also to see if anyone has used these and what they think. It's basically a stackable hard shell case for Mason jars.

But I thought everyone just wrapped them up in all the towels and washcloths in the house, used pillow cases, and random pieces of the family’s clothing, causing great anger in the wife... No? I’m alone in that regard?

That’s really neat. Could be a hassle for active jars but unbelievable for longer term storage. Love it!

Jars used to come in a completely closable box. About 2003 they cut back to a tray, keeping the separators. I was able to stack 13-high with that for years. Jars were my friend, keeping the tobacco in perfect condition until I was ready to smoke it.

I doubted Mylar, not because it had failed but just because I did.

Seems like the solution to a problem nobody has, it’s just overkill. I’d just lay down a piece of cardboard if I needed to stack my jars. Or just put them in a box.

Nice idea but the additional space consumed would be unacceptable. I probably have in the range of 750 to 1,000 jars.

Sounds like the slogan of all my ex-girlfriends. "Tap to expand" is a close second; they all "expanded," and I didn't even have to tap them for that to happen...

But in all seriousness, I agree with @SoddenJack. This is just overkill, another material thing to have which, as a minimalist, just naturally irks me. But hey, more for everyone else then, right?
