Jars used to come in a completely closable box. About 2003 they cut back to a tray, keeping the separators. I was able to stack 13-high with that for years. Jars were my friend, keeping the tobacco in perfect condition until I was ready to smoke it.

I doubted Mylar, not because it had failed but just because I did.

Sounds like the slogan of all my ex-girlfriends. "Tap to expand" is a close second; they all "expanded," and I didn't even have to tap them for that to happen...

But in all seriousness, I agree with @SoddenJack. This is just overkill, another material thing to have which, as a minimalist, just naturally irks me. But hey, more for everyone else then, right?
