Just get a can of spray adhesive from Lowes or Home Depot for around $10 and you can use any type of paper you want, the can will probably do 200 jars.

If anyone is interested, I am in the label business. I prefer vinyl labels with permanent adhesive, that way you can peel the label off cleanly, rather then those ugly ole paper ones.

All these solutions are awesome. I partially recycle myself, clipping the label off of tins or bulk bags and taping it on the jar. When I purchase bulk from a local B&M, I use post-it notes.
