It's a helluva conundrum we have on our hands.

I'd love to go on a philosophical tear about this, I have a ton of well thought out (I think) opinions on this very matter. I'm sure every one of us does. Nuance is a pain in the ass. But maybe, let's just go back to pipes. We aren't solving this right here. We just ain't.

As for the mental health aspect...nearly 100% of these shooters have been on psychotropic pharmaceuticals. And the big corporate media doesn't talk about that either because those companies are their primary sponsors.

People, sadly, go crazy. They just do. No universal formula to prevent it. And crazy is unusual, thankfully. And the people who mess up often get caught, or taken in, or cared for, or stopped. Crazy is still more or less... not popular. That's the general pattern and that's encouraging.

Fixing the crazy is a constant discussion. As is defining it. Complicated. Freedom and choice and all that, it comes under consideration. Slippery.

Lets hope the good guy's get him and remove the threat, and then let the law do what the law does.
