So, first one was good, but not great. Second one was better, with some cocoa notes that seemed absent in the first one. Not sure if it’s inconsistency in the cigars or just me. You’d think by the name and the seller’s notes that this would be a powerful smoke, but they seem to be medium-full at most. These wouldn’t be a bad “knock around” smoke. Good for a backyard BBQ or asado or a round of golf (not that I play). Only two in, but so far I’d consider these to be decent humidor fillers if you smoke a lot and don’t want to take out a loan. ?

The standards for full-strength/full-bodied cigars have really changed over the past 15-20 years. So it might have been on the stronger/fuller side when it was introduced, relative to that time... I think it might have come out in the mid-aughts when Don Pepin/My Father/Tatuaje was the hottest of hot shit and everyone wanted their own Nicaraguan spice bomb and cigars were really being marketed for their body and strength.
