I received a surprise in the mailbox earlier this week. I always keep track of packages in route and wasn't expecting anything. Checked the return address and knew exactly who it was. It's ironic that a man named Scrooge is the most generous person you could ever meet. I opened the box and there sat 7 classic Grabow's. Here are three of the seven. I'll post the rest after I shine them up.
First up: Westbrook TR. These triangle shanks were handmade by one man at the Grabow factory in the 1960's.

The Continental series consisted of 12 shapes and were mail order only. I believe they were only made in the 1950's-1960's.

Thanks again Scrooge! :puffy:

They are nice pipes. I started out smoking Grabows in the 70's, and had a Viking way back then. Liked it better than the Falcon I have now. Only one of my Grabows, a Viscount Author, remains in my collection, but it is still an excellent pipe. Hope you enjoy them.

Fine pipes. Dr. Grabow is a national treasure. Here's to scrooge and the grand men and women of Sparta, N.C.
