I absolutely love the Danish Egg shaped pipes. I’m sure there are some who will disagree with me but I think they are a beautiful design. I was finally able to get one a few days ago and it came in the mail today. If anyone can help me date it please do.

I don't know anything about Danish egg shapes but the bent egg shape is extremely comfortable to smoke ... I have a Vauen 4873 bent egg and its a daily smoker for me. Just my opinion but I think they are a natural evolution of the bent billiard shape. Enjoy your new pipe immensely !

I own a Lasse Skovgaard bent egg. Magnificent pipe and a wonderful smoker.

I could look at pipes all day. The Danish and Italians seem to have led the way to new and maybe more aesthetic approach. Pretty sure one of the old masters from Denmark came up with the egg. Here's one by Lars Ivarsson.
