I had purchased a tin of Royal Twist last year, but finally cracked it last night. It‘s very similar to Three Nuns Green and HU Director’s Cut, with maybe a bit more sweetness. Quite tasty.

I thought last year's release was good enough to call in a favor to have 5 tins shipped to a friend's house since I'm mid-move. If it's still available when I get where I'm going, I plan to go deep on this one.

If you missed it, I ordered 5 tins (mostly for the free shipping). I don't need all 5, and would be willing to trade a one or two for some of the Loch Ness that just dropped.

8pm release

Yeah, I'm all about the 8pm Royal Twist release. Certainly preferred much later at night when I was in my 20s, but now approaching 37 so earlier is the only way to go (twists ain't so royal anymore). Studies have shown it'll be an earlier release the older I get.

Wait, we're still talking about tobacco, right? ?

Did anyone else notice that this is the same tobacco as last year? Looks like they made a run and are just holding it back instead of making a new blend every year. My tins say 2021.
