MacBaren Brands Already Being Delisted?

I'm just catching up with the STG saga...

I smoke the 7 seas blends (Gold and original) as well as Cellini. These were already not selling in the UK since Brexit changed import rules so get them from an EU supplier. I've just logged on for a purchase and they are discounted and fast going out of stock. Sadly the Gold blend 7 Seas is not available anywhere!!

Have they stopped making some blends already??

Very sad and angry right now - thanks for any info from those that are more plugged in than me .

From what I've gathered, the most recent shipment of Mac Baren/ Sutliff products were the last of them.

To all markets? I know the route to market in the US is different but it seems they are stopping European distribution as well...

Have you checked Esterval’s Pipe House in Germany? I see they have Seven Seas “Regular”. Not sure if that’s the same as “original”. Check em out either way.

Yup, thanks! am ordering there as we speak. Sadly they ran out of the gold version which is a favourite of mine. (Regular is "original" - my bad!)

That’s true for any Sutliff related products. The MacBaren plant will continue to operate through 2025, from what I remember of the published timetable, before it gets closed and operations transfer to Asses.

The 7 Seas line was developed to compete with Captain Black (Blue, White, Gold etc). So I'm not surprised STG is ending it.
