Tried a Virginia Flake for the first time tonight.
And I like it! Picked up a Mac Baren Virginia Flake last week and one ‘flake’ was actually more than enough for a medium size bowl: Nice thick flakes. Mild, easy smoke. Let it dry for 10 minutes then rubbed and fills a medium bowl very full, good for larger pipe with one flake. Really enjoying it. Seems quite clean and simple so far. Fair nicotine. No bite. Pairs beautifully with a Junmai sake and a glass of San Pellegrino.F506D291-2260-42B1-983A-C2D9CA7E016F.jpegBBB1A2C5-82E4-4DCD-A3F5-09D84B8000D3.jpeg85751970-E8C2-421D-9C87-78813AFD2BBF.jpeg

I liked it pretty well fresh, but I put my first tin in a jar and forgot about it for about 6 years. When I tried it again it, it was fantastic. Extremely smooth, but with a little bit of spice. Good stuff

Yes but I don't think Sutliff have the machine for cutting the flake. I could be wrong.
Cringle Flake and any Flakes that Watch City or Hearth and Home produces. AFAIK, Sutliff and Mac Baren products are made in the same facility.
