Ok, so I have been smoking this stuff off and on for a while now. I like it, I don't, I do, etc. The last bowl I smoked was just missing something. So in honor of Saint Patrick's day, today I am going to experiment. I just blended this with their 7 seas black. I am on a mission. I will report back.

The loose cut is great for blending. On it's own it can bite a bit, but great when you want to vanilla bomb a room.

I love the Loose Cut version. Packed really tight (Frank method) in a large bowl, it's a fantastic smoke. One of the best Aros, and I'm a very dedicated VA and Oriental smoker!

Ok, so here it is. Finished 2 bowl fulls today to get a good idea of what was up. The bite that is normally associated with this blend, gone. The hint of sweetness, perfect. The cavendish really livened up this blend quite nice. It did not over power yet contributed nicely. It actually brought out the vanilla. The whole bowl had flavor that was consistent. I mixed a little under 50/50 with the vanilla being the stronger part. All in all, it has now become what I was looking for originally. Hope this helps guys.

Sounds interesting, McBarren Vanilla Cream is one of the tobaccos in my collection but I find it bites me too often. Maybe I should try blending it with something else & see what happens cause I dont like the bite I am getting now.
