Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Flake and Mac Baren Vanilla Flake

I read the thread and rave reviews about Mac B Vanilla Cream blend and saw that members preferred the flake blend. Decided to investigate. I see that Mac Baren has two similar tobaccos - Vanilla Flake and Vanilla Cream Flake listed on SP site.
Can anyone tell me the difference? (besides the obvious) Mac Baren's description seems identical for both blends, but Vanilla Flake is available in larger quantities.

I haven't smoked the flake version but have a pound of the regular. It has some nice pieces of flake in it so maybe it's a kind of ready rubbed version of the flake?

Just wondering why the one blend does not indicate "Cream" in the label, although the description is identical. Both are listed as (the members' preferred) flake rather than ribbon cut/whatever.
My thought was to order a small tin of the McB VCF and if I liked it, then order a larger amount for cellaring, but don't want to make a mistake and order the wrong kind.

That is rather intriguing. I hadn't noticed that before. I guess in change blindness I had assumed it was just a pound of Vanilla Cream Flake. I'd suggest emailing or calling smokingpipes.com about it. Their customer service is really good and they'll be more than happy to explain it.

Still trying to figure this out myself as well. Is the flake ''cream'' also, or just vanilla? I have only tried the cream, and I like it....so I no longer care..ha

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've been scratching my head trying to figure that out for a while. They both look like the same thing, but I can't tell. I was wanting to buy a tin to see if I liked it and if so, I would likely buy it in bulk. If they're the same product, then problem solved.
