Open and smoke it. If you don't, you cannot tell if you like it or not. If a year from now you open and it and think its the bomb, you kick yourself for not stocking up. If you smoke it now and like it, you can order more and let the rest age. Trust me, I have a certificate.

This fine flake continues to amaze me! Tonight I smoked 2 flakes cubed up in a Pete 301 bent pot. This pipe is wider and deeper than most of the pipes I'm used to so I got a nice long smoke of about a hour and a half. Normally I dump the last 1/8 bowl as its usually pretty moist but tonight I kept it going and was blown away by even more flavors as I worked through the bowl. Chocolate, pecan pie and crispy pie crust- unbelievable. After I cubed the flakes I let them sit for about a half hour which really helped keep the tobacco burning and I think helped to bring out the flavors even better. Usually I don't plan ahead and leave some drying time but that's something I want to start working on.

I typicall smoke aor's and while i did notice the difference in the nicotine, i still very much enjoyed the smoke. Would ike to get some but i just placed a TAD and forgot it. I got too excited about everything else

Great review mike. Thanks to you, I got to try some. Its my favorite smoke at the present time. I tried the cube cut method and i am going that rout with all my flake and plug tobacco from now on. Burns much cooler than rubbed...

Shawn threw some flakes of this at me to try; this is really good. I'll be ordering a tin if I can't find one in Dayton.

Cubing works good. I like to fold and stuff also with my larger diameter bowls. Get a long cool smoke that way.

I have a tin in the cellar and am anxious to try it but have way too much open already. Big fan of full blends and dark fired flakes. I need to start smoking more or something so I can justify opening another blend

Burn'in through the tin fast, at 1st I wasn't sure about it...but

after some extended dry times with it, it seems to be delivering more

flavor now; rich/earthy as described...just a good uncomplicated

smoke...everyone should give it a try
