Mac Baren HH Line

My favourite blends in this line, Mature Virginia and Vintage Syrian, are sadly discontinued. Of the others I've tried, Bold Kentucky, Burley Flake, Old Dark Fired, Pure VA, and Acadian Perique, the only one I've disliked has been the last. Bold Kentucky is my favourite of the in-production blends.

I have a tin of Balkan Blend, Latakia Flake, and Vintage Latakia, and looking forward to trying them!

I’ve tried pure VA, ODF, Latakia Flake. I really like the ODF but found the Latakia Flake to be somewhat plain for my taste.

The pure VA was interesting, but I found there was an acidic and cigarette like flavor to be very unpleasant and often burning through my nose. I’ve found that to exist to some degree in all of the Mac Baren tobaccos ive tried. The least of which was ODF, which is part of why I think I enjoyed it the most. That flavor/burn turned me off of them, Has one else got that from Mac?
