On the website where I have just bought some Mac Baren 7 seas White, It states that it is supposed to be the same (or as near as possible) to the Captain Black range.
Has anyone had both and is this true?
Thanks

Hi there,
A bit late to the discussion (2 years).... but heres my experience.
CB is easier on the tongue and burns better. The room note is sweet but some think sickly-sweet.
7S smells like Bailey's Irish Cream and as you can imagine has a nicer room note.
When I started smoking I preferred CB as I smoked quite quickly and liked the no bite quality. Now somewhat more experienced I prefer 7S as the flavour has far more to offer.

As always with this kind of stuff, I had the exact opposite experience from briarboyo. I found CB to give me a fair amount of bite while I've had extreme luck with the 7 Seas line being easy-smoking aros. The 7 Seas are pretty much the only aros I smoke these days, in fact. But again, its always different for everyone...
