Similar situation for me. I jarred a crap-ton of it and it just keeps getting better.

I think mine is from the same time period. I also have a jar of ravens eyes from the same period, but also sitting right next to the LBF.

Safe to say, it’s not my thing.

If you ever think about unloading it rather than tossing it in the trash, I'm interested in acquiring some of the aged stuff!

I have some nearly 12 years old. I’ve had it at all ages over the years, and I’ve even smoked just the cavendish centers… and I’ve not found it to be especially sweet. But, mine have all been old. Haven’t had it fresh in years.
But, it does turn completely dark brown with age.

I guess my taste buds haven’t made the transition away from Latakia and DFK as of yet, which is what I’ve been told will happen over time.

Or maybe I’ve just not smoked LBF that’s old enough to walk yet.
