Anyone else have love for estate Comoy's? I have 3 billiards and they all smoke wonderfully and are beautiful. I find them a good bargain too. Also, the shapes are so classic. I'll post pictures when I'm not at work. I just purchased one from smokingpipes and cannot say enough good things about them. They definitely do a nice cleaning and polishing. It's almost like getting a new pipe and I'm enjoying building back the cake.

I've got I believe 5 older Comoys pipes and love em. I really should smoke them more, as they're all great smokers with nice open draft holes. I'm a fan. Still chasing an early tapered billiard.

Next is a Tawny Lumberman which I've never dated but bought as an estate. Probably one of my favorite pipes, lost the original bid for it then two weeks later the winner reposted it and I insta bought it.

I've moved a number of mine. One that I've never been able to aquire - a Blue Riband, still eludes me.

I have quite a few old Comoys and they are some of my best smokers. For some reason, people don’t seem to pay much attention to them like they do other old Brit wood. Their loss. Great smokers.
I bought and restored it with the intent of reselling, but it was just too lovely and the right size had to join my other British small, bent Billiards.
These have been on my radar for a while. Gorgeous pipes. Someone school me on the wood they use - Do only some of the vintage ones utilize 100-year-aged Algerian Briar? Or was that widely used with these pipes?
Blue Ribands command an
underserved premium IMO.
I have a couple of Selected and Specially selected with much nicer grain. At a lot lower prices
