Dogs are in many ways, superior to people, less emotionally complex and less full of shit. There's a purity to them that people simply lack.
I see dogs as kind of our idealized image of ourselves. Basically they're wolves we projected ourselves onto over many generations. That's my take on them.
proof of this is that they certainly figured out that people have feelings. Seriously if you think animals don't have emotions and feelings you are blind.
reminds me of when visiting relatives and they get weird that your more into the cat or dog then seeing them. I am like hey if you act that excited to see me you'll get belly rubs and head scratches too.

Absolutely. I was pretty sick a few weeks ago and these guys took turns laying down with me. Look over the fact that one looks like a cat, all three of them think he's a dog.
