Damn, that's the weekend I'm out of town. Oh well, catch you up next time. I really had a blast at the first meeting and can't recommend getting to the next one highly enough!
Sorry you won't be able to make it! Hope you will at least be out of town for fun and not work.

FYI we've updated site with details of the September 28th meeting. We typically have had the meetings the 3rd Sunday of the month but switching it up this month to allow those going to the Nashville show the ability to attend the meeting.

I attended the October meeting and it was a blast! Very well attended in a terrific space. If you LA pipesters haven't come to a meeting you're missing out, big time. I really enjoyed chatting with the various attendees and in particular, Brian McNulty of Anima Pipes. Come out and support this club!
A word about the space. The event was held at Briar Hound in Pasadena. It's a cool spare space, open on weekends only, that is devoted to pipes and pipe tobacco. No cigs, vapes, cigars. The young proprietor is passionate about pipes, offers a nice selection of artisan pipes at very attractive prices, a few blends of his own, and a small selection of tinned tobacco. It's basically a start up, and an insane idea in these times.
But if LA pipe smokers want s place to meet up, and a place where they won't feel like an afterthought, they need to support this place. There are few places in LA to go where a pipe smoker can feel at home and in the next couple of years there is a pretty good chance that at least two major stores will close. Briar Hound is a place where the pipe smoker can feel right at home.

I wholeheartedly agree with all of the above. Briar Hound is a great little shop and we need to support Chuck in his endeavor, for all of our sakes. I might go up there Saturday afternoon/evening to meet a friend for a smoke, even though it's almost an hour away for me.

I'd really like to be at the LAPC meeting, because it's such a good time. But my Once And Future Wife is flying down from the East Bay and we'll be behind the Orange Curtain on Sunday, celebrating her mother's birthday. Possibly December, depending on the date.

Going very well thanks! We just had our huge Holiday Raffle with the money going to Heifer International. Along with great monthly meetings with good attendance.
