Found these recently. Some were picked over before I got there but still a pretty cool. I'm a newbie so I've read the pipedia but was looking for real world experience with these. The lorenzo seem higher quality and better drafts than the big bens but other than that don't know much.20210830_172453.jpg

I have no experience of Big Ben pipes.
I had a Lorenzo which I bought in the mid-70s - well made, nice wood, sweet smoker.
I gave it away because it was too small and didn't fit in with the pipes I was collecting at that time, to my regret.

A great find! Neither pipe brand is high value but both have some history.


Sets like that were often sales displays and were probably not often kept intact as a set as such. Pieces would have been sold off and replaced over time. Very cool though. I say smoke and enjoy!
