Lord of the rings pipe

So I got this pipe from Amazon a while back and by shire pipes that's Lord of the rings themed and it did say it's smokable but with the bowl wall being so thin I think it's better keeping it on the shelf. May back it out if I go to a renaissance fair or something. For those who wondering with the description on the pipe says it (not all those who wander are lost)

Nice looking pipe and it appears to be of good quality so I would think smoking it would be fine. Just don’t puff like a freight train, lol. I’ve got several vintage pipes with thin walls compared to many modern pipes and not only have they survived for decades but they still smoke great. Don’t be scared! Puff away.

I'm glad that the pipe will survive a some smoke infections but I still think it should be a special occasion pipe like when I'm playing DND with the guys or going to a festival.

Looks pretty solid, but I can't really tell much from the pics. Does it mention who the maker is or what the pipe is made from (briar, cherry, etc.)?

The Lord of the RIngs stuff always sells. It is a very attractive pipe.

It was may by shire pipes and it's made from cherry wood.

Just an FYI, I guess, I was finally moved by the new shape in a blast in the similar pipes from Vauen and have one on the way from SPEU. I may finally read a Tolkien novel!

Or a halfling wizard, who uses it to cast Hypnotic Pattern. Now you just need to figure out how to make your tobacco burn colored smoke.

There are legitimate pipe manufacturers who make Lord of the Ring style pipes - Vauen, McQueen, Missouri Meerschaum, for example.

Put some good Flake in it and smoke it slow.

I may try to mack that character. I doubt I'm going to be able to make color smoke though.

Not advice I dole out to new pipe smokers generally as there is a steep learning curve, but getting a cheap clay pipe and learning to smoke that will go a long way to teaching you the right cadence to smoking any pipe with thin(-ish) walls
