I've used CA glue to repair holes in buttons before with no ill effect, but the button isn't getting heated like the bowl is. MM uses wood glue when they attach the shank to the bowl, so it's a safe option for adhesives. The most important part after getting the cracks stabilized will be to get a bowl coating inside to prevent burning the bowl out in those weak spots caused by the cracks.Awesome thank you! I’ve read about using CA glue on cracks on the stem & even that kinda sketches me out so I wasn’t even considering using it on the bowl. I’m still pretty bummed about it.
