Thanks for the suggestions Jesse! I’ve had Edward G (?, finishing up a tin in rotation). Mahuwa is definitely on my next order. Given I enjoy Burley so much, I’d likely bypass the tin and go in for a pound. I received a sample of this when I first started coming round to this forum. It’s was excellent in my memory. And, yes I’d very much like to get some of the Director’s Cut with Hans’s foot down with K&K hopefully. I purchased a pound of about a 1.5 yrs ago and it is a tasty blend, but I do believe that the added Kentucky & less perique is not the way to go IMHO. I know you’ve commented on this with Jim already.
As far as Watch City, I’ve only sampled the Deluxe Crumb Cut, which Jim personally recommended, as I very much liked as a dessert ? burley blend.
Rich Dark Flake (Haunted Bookshop being a close second) is probably my favorite all-time blend. Unfortunately, when I was contemplating getting out of Pipe smoking for health reasons (wife, marriage, etc. ?) I sold off or gave away many bags of RDF. Now, I’m relegated at the moment to my last ball jar, and I try to enjoy it sparingly until I get another ?? buddy to assist, or if the Chinese stop buying it all up…maybe I should get a ?? buddy instead. ??️
