Looking Tirelessly for the Vauen Herr Der Ringe Gandalf Pipe

Hello. Ever since I laid eyes on Vauen's official Herr Der Ringe (Lord of the Rings) Gandalf pipe, there is literally nothing in this world that I want more. I have been searching the internet tirelessly, and have not been able to find a single one in stock anywhere, with the exception of one being part of a set being sold on eBay for well over $1000, which is out of my price range. Your help would be eternally appreciated if I were able to find one for sale. I am aware that this pipe is very rare and sought-after, however that does not even come close to making me give up my search. I don't understand why people like Churchwardens so much. To me they seem cumbersome. To each their own and all but they are definitely not to my liking.
Gotta love marketing these days, take a churchwarden and slap Lord of the Rings on it and all the LotR fans will want to buy it. I'm surprised there isn't a Jabba the Hut Hookah on the market for the Star Wars fans. :mrgreen:

We are putting this official Gandalf pipe,Bilbo pipe and Gimli pipe on our ebay store tomorrow.Those one are very rare and hard to find.They are expensive because they are the official Lord of the ring pipes which is made by Vauen.

@Aaron, Buy the cheaper non licensed versions from Vauen unless you really want one that says 'Gandalf' on the box. It sounds like you are a fan of the style and shape of the pipe moreso a collector looking for rare gimmick pipes being sold for way over their worth.
You pictured the Gandalf version Churchwarden which has the pointed bowl. You'll find a couple of pipes that fit that description under this post. If you order Vauen pipes from German online stores you'll get them a little bit cheaper even with delivery. If you must absolutely have a GANDALF pipe then be prepared to sell that kidney to pay for it.

Ausland = Foreign, overseas.
Relevancy to pipes though = 0

I think if you are fixed on that pipe from the movie, only that will do. There are other churchwardens,

of course, some quite affordable. I like my Savenelli 601, and my wife got a great deal on it as a gift.

Too bad he was a one post wonder.
My dive into pipes started roughly the same. A few years ago I actually set out to find a "Gandalf" pipe (licensing wasn't a priority though), but as soon as I found out that a regular long stemmed pipe is called a Churchwarden (at a fraction of the cost) my interest in fantasy pipes vanished.

Yes, and what really frosts my ass is when members try to help and do research for guys like this (no matter what the subject is) simply disappear and are given no thanks for their effort.
