Jack knife plug
Also, peterson's university flake used to kill me. Not anymore. Think the baccy changed more than my tolerance, but worth a shot since it used to be like smoking straight nicotine patches.

G.L. Pease Jack Knife Plug

G.L. Pease Haddos Delight

Gawtith and Hoggarth Dark Birdseye
all come to mind when I think of high nicotine blends.

Cornell and Diehls Montford Point Marine is the most flavorful, most "grab you by the front of the shirt and kick the living crap out of you while it nails your girlfriend and steals your lunch money" blend. Seriously. I could only smoke tiny bowls of that stuff, and even when I did I had to take one or two breaks throughout the bowl from the nicotine buzz. Safe Harbor Flake, also by Cornell and Diehl, is pretty tasty and has a good nic kick too. MacBaren Golden Extra is a good choice too.

Haddo's Delight, Others say high nic.....I've never noticed any from it.
Furthermore, others in the past have gone on and on about the pepper in Haddo's. To me I walk away from Haddo's going "That Was SWEET"
It is, regardless, very good. Even to someone who normally steers clear of sweet baccy like me. Just enough earthy and low tones to support it I guess.

1792 and Haddo's are the main ones that call out to me, but I've been too much of a coward to take the plunge...

I've smoked Haddo's and JKP and they were both managable for me (not a big nic smoker). I smoked Five Brothers and I could hear my eyeballs moving!

Baron I winced when I read that! Very apt description...
That kind of thing is why I'm slow to try these strong blends - my recent experiences with chew also have me a little sheepish!

Anything with Dark Fired. GL Pease Triple Play, Jackknife Plug, SG Bracken Flake, MacBarens Old Dark Fired. One that kicks my butt every time that doesn't have Dark Fired in it is C&D night train. Hold on to you hat if you smoke that stuff.

C & D'S #970P Pirate Kake

(Pressed only) A smooth, robust blend with LOTS of exceptional Latakia accompanied by Turkish and cavendish cut Burley. A blend for the Latakia lover. :puffy:

The strongest blends to me are the following.
SG Brown Rope no.4

Petersons Irish Flake

SG XX Black Twist

SG 1792 ( don't like it but it sure is strong) you have to be a fan of the Tonquin Bean to like this one.

Half & Half may not be the strongest out there, but it is the strongest I've had. It's a drugstore brand. Smells like raisins.
