Looking for poker!!!!

I just bought a Tinsky Coral Christmas pipes (2008) NOS from a shop in VA. I have another Tinsky that is a very good smoker, but this new Coral(Naked) pipe smokes phenomenally. It has been one of my favorites in the past few weeks. I smoke MM965 a lot, but this pipe really brought out flavors I haven't experienced in my other pipes. I also have a David Jones Poker. It is a good pipe, but not in the Tinsky quality/experience range ($85 pipe). My vote is one of those Christmas Pokers. I just saw a trio of them at the JB Haynes shop in Fair Oaks VA, the fit and finish was outstanding.

What are the pros/cons of your dj poker? Been considering getting one myself and this thread has caused PAD to kick in quite a bit lol

Pro: Big, thick bowl, this one is my "campfire" pipe, a good mitt-full of briar around a fire. Smokes well, but the draw was a little tight, I opened it up a tad.
Cons: Heavy, over 80 grams, not balanced particularly well, but it's not a clencher. Stem work is OK at this price point, but fit, finish (button, etc.) are not as well refined as a Tinsky stem.

Mark Tinsky makes some truly amazing pipes.

I got in contact with Chris McCartor and decided on a pipe similar to this but, with different stain and different stem.

I just ordered some Mississippi Mud also. Saving that to break it in with

Congrats man! I finally got the pictures of mine on my album here but when I post them in threads they are a bit too small. Anyways, congrats again. He makes some good smoking pipes and the customization is always an awesome thing to have! Be sure to post pics when it comes in!
