Hi everyone,

About a decade ago, I purchased a bag of tobacco at a B&M tobacco store in Fort Gratiot/Port Huron, Michigan - I believe it was a Wild Bill's. It was blended by Churchill's Tobacconists and named "Cherry King" (see attached photos of the bag).

This is my go-to cherry bland and I still have a decent supply from back then. However, I haven't been able to find any information about this blend online and could only find one reference to it, in a post on another forum by someone else who had also picked it up at their local B&M.

I was wondering if anyone has any information about this blend or what other name it may go under now? I want to learn more about it and where to purchase it again, or at least what the closest match might be in Canada. I'm thinking Mac Baren 7 Seas Cherry/Red Blend but wanted to know if others have had experience with this or similar blends.

Thanks in advance!

Churchill's has evolved into an upscale restaurant/cigar bar chain with three locations in metro Detroit. I have no idea if they have pipe tobacco any more.

Super cool bag/blend. As a Cherry fan, I’m interested to see if someone chimes in with more information. This is the first I’ve ever heard of it. My wife and her family are all from Michigan, if it’s still being made I could probably convince (bribe) a family member to ship me some!

They don’t blend any longer but used to use a variety of sources for tobacco. The same person owns Wild Bills and Churchill’s now. I believe some of the WB’s are franchises. It is a Michigan based company. That’s an ancient bag from Churchill’s.
