For Virginia alone, McClellands Red Cake Virginia 5100 is a good place to start. For Va/Per, Home and Hearth Anniversary Kake is another good start. But the field is vast -- OGS, Dunhill Elizabethan, PS Luxury Navy Flake ... and hundreds of others.

For a lighter gold Virginia- Dunhill Flake.
Middle ground- Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake or Capstan Blue.
Dark Virginia- McClelland Blackwoods Flake.
McClelland Christmas Cheer is amazing.

Rattray's Old Gowrie is my personal favorite Virgina/Perique. Dunhill Flake is a very tasty straight Virginia.

OG has very little perique in it - I would guess less than 1%. I consider that a Virginia blend, just like I do the now discontinued MacBaren's Latakia, which has less than 1% of that condimental leaf.
Tarak and MSO489 both have good suggestions. McClelland is a master of Virginia blends - you can do significantly worse than exploring their blends.
