Looking For A Movie

Quite some time ago I saw a movie that I cannot recall the name of or any of the actors in it.

From what I can recall. It starts in a video store or game store. There is some sort of pandemic/apocalypse going on that has some sort of lightning that strikes killing whoever it hits. In order to survive they take a van to a mountain range to a bunker one of them heard of, while picking up a couple more folks/friends. While in route a argument breaks out and one friend gets out of the van and stomps off into the field by the road. They get struck by the lightning while others are watching. They make it to the bunker where either someone else is already there, or one of them turns on the others. The person pulls a gun so they would have control of all the supplies there.

I believe this came out sometime before 2006. The memory Is fuzzy and figured I would ask here to see if anyone else hopefully seen it. I don’t recall any zombies in it at all, and it wasn’t a war movie from what I recall. GoogleFu has failed me and the movie search engines I know of I can’t find it since the tag feature is lacking.

I've seen a movie similar to that. There was a group of people taking shelter in a house and they had to cover all of the doors and windows in order to stay safe. One guy pulled a gun to take control. I'll have to think about this for a while and see if I can figure out the name.

Thats not it either, nor is Lightning: Fire from the Sky. I think it was a SyFy made for TV movie. Those are harder to find. Took me forever to find the anime I saw when I was a kid.... called Lily C.A.T.

I’ve seen some random movies that stick in my mind for years.

The Phantasm was another movie I saw as a kid and folks I have talked to never even heard of it. Brain Dead aka Dead Alive movie was another movie that took a long time to find. Are they good movies, that depends on your taste. They tend to be fun to set with friends and watch and laugh at them. Thanks for the help, I may never find that movie. Search engines pull data from so much now and when you search movies about bunkers or vans you get other results. Not remembering the people who played in it make it that much harder.

I’ll be I think I found it. May of got it mixed up with some other movies but the beginning of it is this movie. It wasn’t lightning, some sort of electro balls that kill folks. The trailer if still funny.

There's this Bruce Lee cartoon I saw when I was kid. He's in that yellow onesie, and kicking butt all over the place including inside of this bad guy's body. I can't never find any reference to that cartoon. I saw it in movie theater in early 70s.
